Sunshine!

So today the weather was nice for a change! The sun was out, and the air was surprisingly warm! So i took the opportunity to wear more summery clothes! My jeans are Topshop. I'm still not keen on them. I'm just not a jean person! haha. I bought my top last year in the Republic sale. It ties at the front, and is just super cute! :) I couldn't decide what flats to wear, so sorry for the feet! But in the end i chose to wear my white Primark plimsolls as i went for a long walk with the mother! I wish i could say the sun stayed all day, but it didn't. The dreaded rain started! :(

Hope you all have better weather than me!

Stressful Times

Caught you!

Outfit day 2

Outfit day 1

The New James Bond! ;)

Ready to leave! (sorry for the blurry face aha)

I had to go down to London on Monday, as i had a hospital appointment both Monday and Tuesday. Thank god we booked our seats on the train, as it was completely full! Probably because it was Easter weekend! So after a 5 and a half hour train journey, we finally arrived in London! Paul's mum and partner picked us up, and drove me to the hospital. After the appointment we went for food, then went home. I was far too tired to do anything else! haha. On the Tuesday we had to be up really early, as i had a second appointment in the morning. As Paul's mum lives in Thame (Oxfordshire), we had to get the train and bus to London. Then the tube to the hospital. My god was that stressful! Eventually we gave up and had to get a taxi right to the door. Cost a fortune! :(  Afterwards, we went for lunch, then went straight to Kings Cross for me to get my train home. The boyfriend stayed down for the week with his mum, so i had a very long, boring and tiring 7 hour journey home, including 2 changes! :( All in all we had a good weekend. I ate far too much chocolate and cake, but i finally met Paul's mum after 1 and a half years of being together!

Hope you had a lovely Easter too! :D

Summer's nearly here!

So the clocks go forward an hour this weekend, and it also means that its officially the start of the British summer. I'm sure i can speak for everyone in the UK right now, when i say i'm deffinitly not feeling it! Its still snowing and absolutely freezing! So instead of feeling sorry for myself, i decided to do a more summery outfit with my new favourite dress! Its originally from Topshop, but i bought it off Ebay, and i got it for an absolute bargain! I fancied a change to wearing long chunky cardigans, so i went with my short black one from Dorothy Perkins. I was a little unsure at first, but i think with the black tights and boots, it all goes! :) During the day, the sun finally came out, and the air seemed a little warmer. So i switched to my grey 3/4 length cardigan from Zara. I've had this for years, and it still going strong! Finally... I wore a thin brown belt round my waist, as the dress was a little loose round the chest! I think i got this free, i'm not sure haha.

Todays outfit.

I feel like i have disowned you guys this past week! I've been so busy arranging trains etc as i'm going down to London on Monday for an appointment & to meet the boyfriends mother. We've been together a year and a half and I've still not met her. Whoops! Today's outfit is one you will recognise! I'm having a huge clear-out so i'm having to make do with the same old clothes, until i buy more! haha. On the plus side its nearly Easter! Time for chocolate :)

I'm still undecided with this dress. Don't get me wrong the design in lovely, but the material is too clingy. So it shows every lump and bump you have! I wore my Topshop cardi over the top, which i love! It covers those bits you don't want anyone to see, and its super warm. Which is a bonus in this cold weather. Snowing in March?! I decided to wear my ankle boots instead of ballerina pumps, as its just too cold! Anywhoo, let me know what you think!

Dress - Boohoo
Cardi - Topshop
Boots - Dorothy Perkins

my favourite products of the month.

 1. I've been using the Go Blonder shampoo and conditioner by John Freida for a few months now, and i absolutely love it. My hair is naturally blonde and now im 18, im always worried it will gradually get darker! At a pricey £5.89 per bottle, i was worried that i was wasting my money on something that was pointless. Well i was wrong! I've noticed such a difference in the way my hair feels, and looks. I deffinitly notice a difference in the lightness of my hair especially just after its been washed. It sure does look a lot blonder! I would recommend both of these 100%!!

 2. If you have read my 25 things about me post, you would know i suffer from trichotillomania. (The urge to pull out your hair) unfortunately i pull both my eyelashes and eyebrows out. I went searching the web for a product to help them grow back quicker, but strengthen them at the same time. I found quite a few products on the Boots website, but none of them had as many reviews and high ratings as Rapid Lash. I purchased it for £36.00 online as they had a special deal on, but its originally £40.00. However amazon are selling it for £35.00. I would advise this to anyone 110%. I started using this around 2 weeks ago. At that time i had no eyelashes, and now i can happily say quite a few of them have grown through  Usually it would take around a month for them to start growing back, so i was pritty shocked! You apply a thin line of the Rapid Lash to the base of the upper lash and lower lash line. This is amazing! Id advise everyone to go out and buy one!

3. I've been using this on my face every morning before i put my make up on. I find it hard to find a perfect cream to moisturize my face without making the skin greasy, but a few days after i started using this i noticed a massive difference in the way my skin felt and looked. I guess you can say it really does give you baby soft skin!

What you all think? :)

All In One + chilli!

I've been going through that stage where i have absolute nothing to wear! aha. Im sure all you girls know what i am talking about, and to make it worse i sold half of my clothes. So my wardrobe is looking a tad empty. I bought this check shirt a few months ago for and never wore it until now. Its quite a dark shade of green, and if your really pale like me i think its quite a hard colour to wear, but i took the risk and i think it paid off well! I paired it with a plain white vest top, black skinny jeans and my white flats. I found the outfit a tad plain and boring just by itself, so i added my chunky scarf and i think it made a huge difference!

Shirt - H&M
Vest Top - New Look
Jeans - New Look
Shoes - Primark

Sorry for this rough looking photo, it was late!

Before dinner my mum popped to Tesco's to do a food shop and came back with this amazing onesie for me! I've moaned and moaned to her about how much i want one and finally she gave in. But at £14.99 it was a absolute bargain! Its a lovely light grey colour with white bunnies all over. There are buttons all the way up the front with a baby pink stripe. It just reminds me of a baby's onesie. Its super cute and i love it!

I haven't blogged any of my meals recently. I keep forgetting, but i promise to start again soon! Tonight's dinner was chilli con carne with green peppers, mushrooms, and kidney beans. We use a tomato base sauce which has whole cherry tomatoes in too! The kidney beans are in a chilli sauce, but we always add a teaspoon of smoked paprika, without it this chilli wouldn't be as good as it is! I have brown rice with mine as i cant eat white rice. And as per usual i have my tomato sauce on the side.

What did you eat today? :)

Sunday - Lazy Day

Hello! Isn't that a cute face to start this post off with? ;) I spent Sunday afternoon with this beautiful girl. Sundays are pritty much a day to chill, do nothing and relax! I wouldn't say looking after her is relaxing but it sure is fun! She really is the cutest dog ever. I took her to a huge field to run about in, but it was more like a mud bath! eurgh. Strangely enough her favourite thing to do is chase birds aha.

I wore whatever i have which i class as old. For me that's hard because i chuck things out before they become too old! My shoes are only a month old and already they're filthy.

Jeans: New Look
Jacket: North face
Shoes: Primark  (comfiest shoes ever!)

Here comes the good part! - Once i had dropped Stella off, I went straight to Tesco's and bought the ingredients to make these amazing cookie bars. They are the most easiest and quickest thing to bake. If you click here you will find the original recipe i used. However you will notice that these ones only have chocolate chips in them. That is because i changed mine around and put m&m's and white chocolate buttons in. WOW seriously these are melt in the mouth!

Hope you had a lovely relaxing weekend too :)
